So that no one has to go searching through the QDG, here is the relevant section from Appendix A, p. 46:

gssinstallcheck flags the MT4115 adapter with the incorrect firmware. Type: Deployment
Arch: Big Endian
and Little Endian
Version: ESS 5.3.2.1
Affected Nodes:
ALL
There is a bug that causes gssinstallcheck to flag that the MT4115 adapter has incorrect firmware after deploying or upgrading of ESS 5.3.2.1. If the firmware is showing 12.23.1020 for the
MT4115 adapter you can safely ignore this
message.
I am far from an expert, but I would say that your question/situation fits this exactly and you can "safely ignore this message."

Have you tried:

  updatenode nodename -P gss_ofed

But, is this the known issue listed in the qdg?

Any insight on what command I need to fix this? It’s the only error I have when running gssinstallcheck.

[ERROR] Network adapter

firmware: found 12.23.1020 expected 12.23.8010, net adapter count: 4
