#I'm not a member of this list, so please include my email in your reply.# We're about to do a section on GPG in my networking class. In preparation I have been collecting the apps I need to do my labs at home instead. It looks like MacGPG has come a very long way from when I looked at OpenPGP a long time back. I used the original PGP on Mac OS 9.
One feature I miss from the old PGP days. (if it is here I don't see it yet) Is the encrypt/compose window. It was a PGP window where you typed out your message, and did the encryption. After you cut&pasted the cipher text into your mail client. It had one other feature. When they read your message, it brought up a secure window that kept the message from ever going back to an unencrypted form. Why do I miss this feature you might ask? I use gmail, and I don't ever expect gmail to support PGP. I know I could use Mail.app, or the firefox one. I know I'm asking a lot, but please give my feature request a little thought. It doesn't need to be a default setting, but some of use would rather our messages stay secure. Oh one last thing, very nice work. The new MacGPG looks wonderful, and fills me with hope. Otherwise I would never be asking for features, to consider using it in the future. -- Jeremy Ellison, Bachelor of Science Major Washburn University Computer Information Sciences 1700 College Ave Topeka, KS 66621 _______________________________________________ gpgtools-users mailing list gpgtools-users@lists.gpgtools.org FAQ: http://www.gpgtools.org/faq.html Changes: http://lists.gpgtools.org/mailman/listinfo/gpgtools-users Unsubscribe: http://lists.gpgtools.org/mailman/options/gpgtools-users/arch...@mail-archive.com?unsub=Unsubscribe&unsubconfirm=1 This email sent to: arch...@mail-archive.com
