Troopers! Some questions from a GPG newbie: When I installed GPG a week ago, I created a new keypair, and added the comment "Temporary Keys for Learning Only". Since then, I've added other uids using GPG Keychain Access, one for each of my remaining email addresses. Now I'd like to get rid of that comment. Must I delete the uid with the comment, and then add it again (without comment) as I did with the other uids? I see that I can set a specified uid to be the Primary one, and I assume that the uid with the comment is the Primary. Should I define another uid to be the Primary before I delete the commented uid? Also, just what is the purpose of a Primary key, anyway? What are the advantages/disadvantages of have a uid for each of my email accounts?
Enough for today. Thanks, guys! ____________________________________________ Charlie Rose Boulder, Colorado, USA Oberaudorf, Deutschland Web Site: http://www.ros5e.com My PGP Public Key: Temporarily Unvailable ------------------------------------- When LuteFisk is outlawed, Only outlaws will have LuteFisk
