Hi Andy, thank you for your feedback. When I compiled gpg 1.4.11 on that PPC, I just did ./configure without any options or flags. Maybe I should have been more specific about the kind of processor. The compiled gpg 1.4.11 on this Intel worked OK for --refresh-keys.
