Dear F,

you didn't reply to Remco's question what process you are refering to. If you 
wonder how to create a key-pair please have a look at the GPG Keychain Access 
Wiki:
* https://github.com/GPGTools/GPGKeychainAccess/wiki/Getting-started

If you have trouble retrieving a friends public key, pls make sure he/she 
uploaded his key to the keyservers and then use GPG Keychain Access to search 
for his name. (don't expect the key to show up immediately, keyservers need 
some time to sync accross the globe).
