"Smart cards" is a very broad term. Which card, which reader? I assume OpenPGP 1.1 or 2.0 card or CryptoStick v1.2, as this is GPG related list and this is the only card really supported by GPG. Information about the reader would still be needed. I did re-initialize a cryptostick this morning. I did update the CCID driver for this.
