MacPorts installs a version of pinentry that is not compatible with MacOSX. Try running the MacGPG2-2.0.17 as a stand alone installer, but first quit all running applications, and after the MacGPG2 installer has completed its run, *restart* your computer. After the computer completes the reboot process, please check that: - MacGPG2 has been properly installed: In Terminal: $ gpg2 --version - gpg-agent is available and running: $ gpg-agent Because you are using X-Mailer: Apple Mail (2.1244.3), GPGMail is not yet functioning, before a Lion compatible GPGMail.mailbundle is released for use, or at least for test, very soon probably. You can use Thunderbird+Enigmail. If you do, please set the path to gpg2: /usr/local/MacGPG2/bin/gpg2 In Thunderbird/OpenPGP/Preferences. I don't use GPGServices. Good luck, Charly _______________________________________________ gpgtools-users mailing list gpgtools-users@lists.gpgtools.org FAQ: http://www.gpgtools.org/faq.html Changes: http://lists.gpgtools.org/mailman/listinfo/gpgtools-users Unsubscribe: http://lists.gpgtools.org/mailman/options/gpgtools-users/arch...@mail-archive.com?unsub=Unsubscribe&unsubconfirm=1 This email sent to: arch...@mail-archive.com
