Hi Lukas & all, in response to the last (of seemingly countless) emails asking about GPGMail & Lion: What about updating your announcement on gpgtools.org regarding Lion by including a description of the "disabling"-process occurring when updating. Something like (changes in ***):
"Yes, almost all components of the current GPGTools package run under OS X Lion. However, GPGMail is not yet compatbile *** and will be "disabled" by Apple Mail on first startup after updating to Mac OS X Lion. This is completely normal and occurs with each update of Apple Mail - and we can't help it. However, *** we're working on *** an update of GPGMail that will run under Mac OS X Lion and it will be available soon. You will be notified via this website or our "announcement" mailing list once the update is available. In case you want to speed up the process: Why not donate? *** In the meantime you could tell Apple to support Mail bundles officially and use GPGServices to handle encrypted messages.
