I'm a bit of a newbie about this but how do I verify the installer download with the signature file?
I ran the openssl with sha1 on the dmg installer package and got the same checksum. (openssl dsgt -sha1 GPGTools-20110711.dmg) I've download the signature file as well. I don't know how to get the public key to see if the download was signed as well. I'm running Mac OS X Lion 10.7. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance for any help. Stan -- rsh2...@columbia.edu
