You might try the 2.x alpha version they have out. It runs on my Lion install 
just fine. There are a couple things that need fixing but they are hard at work 
on it. I can both encrypt and decrypt. You just have to make sure the sign and 
encrypt icons are unchecked when you send to people who aren't using 
encryption. I have not had it crash on me so far.
