ask the sender to use the "old, prone to error, not standardized" 
OpenPGP/Inline format when sending you signed mails ;)

This option is only about *sending* mails to others. Unfortunately there is no 
option to convert incoming OpenPGP/MIME mails to OpenPGP/Inline mails.
