Hi Team, I'm trying touse gPhoto for Astrophotography with my old and loyal EOS
20Da. ('a' for Astrophotography isthe same box as EOS 20D) where IR has been
removed
I’m able tocapture images when my EOS 20Da is in Automatic Mode but when I
switch the control wheel to "M" Manual mode (Manual Exposure), the command
“gphoto2 -get-capture”fails and message error saying that it is impossible to
capture the image. (The same issue occurs when Iswitch the control well
to "P",Tv,Av).
The other modes cute scene presets (portrait, sports, etc.) work very well but
not relevant for Astrophotography where a long exposure (through Manual mode)
is required.
I know it's anold DSLR no longer supported by usualtools, has some one an idea
how to fix this issue.
