Yes, this usually marks it.

This information is received from the first report of a user. "Canon EOS 
Shutter Button" is actually
an indicator of being able to do Canon EOS Capture.

One thing that is incorrect is that the EOS M series currently does not allow 
configuration, there there
the support page is incorrect.

gphoto2 --capture-image-and-download   should work though.
