Hi,

One thing is that you might need to switch this Sony SLT camera to "PC Control 
mode"
in its USB Menu settings.

The other thing is that there is a permission issue in your logfile.

As you are using MacOS, you might need to kill the PTPCamera process,
and potentially also check for userspace permissions for USB devices.
(Not sure what else might be amiss on MacOS.)
