Hi Marcus! It's been too long! As soon as I read the problem an idea popped into my head that I thought to share with Dr. Busscher. I think what might work here is something from Astrophotography. You might try a motorized rack and pinion focuser and controller (There is some arduino code that emulates a Moonlite focuser) and software or code from "auto focus" like Jasem Mutlaq's Ekos has over at Indilib.org.
Hope this helps, Ray Wells IV https://github.com/Blueshawk On Wednesday, July 14, 2021, 12:35:34 PM UTC, gphoto-devel-requ...@lists.sourceforge.net <gphoto-devel-requ...@lists.sourceforge.net> wrote: Send Gphoto-devel mailing list submissions to gphoto-devel@lists.sourceforge.net To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/gphoto-devel or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to gphoto-devel-requ...@lists.sourceforge.net You can reach the person managing the list at gphoto-devel-ow...@lists.sourceforge.net When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific than "Re: Contents of Gphoto-devel digest..."
