Dear gphoto development team:
This is an amazing piece of software, very happy to have successfully
connected our old Nikon D5000 to a Raspberry Pi 4B running Octopi/Octoprint
1.7.0.
I also tried our even more ancient Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ30 with the camera
USB mode set to PictBridge, but no success. As per the instructions from
the gphoto support page (http://gphoto.org/proj/libgphoto2/support.php), I
have attached all the relevant logfiles. Please let me know what else I
can do to help.
You don't say here, but what I can gather in the log is that you want to
capture images, but the log is quite clear:
*** Error ***
Sorry, your camera does not support generic capture
ERROR: Could not capture image.
ERROR: Could not capture.
*** Error (-6: 'Unsupported operation') ***
On a side note your version of libgphoto2 is VERY old. But that doesn't
change this anyway it's a camera limitation: it doesn't support PTP capture.
