Hello dear gPhoto-Team,
I am trying to add a Sony DSC-W830 camera, to take pictures with a Raspberry Pi.
Unfortunately, this camera is not working with gPhoto and is not listed in
supported camera list.
I enabled the PTP/MTP Mode in the camera settings. As requested, I attached you
the summary and config.txt.
Output of gphoto2 --capture-image:
*** Fehler ***
Sorry, your camera does not support generic capture
FEHLER: Konnte Bild nicht aufnehmen.
FEHLER: Konnte nicht aufnehmen.
*** Fehler (-6: »Nicht unterstützte Funktion«) ***
Looking at teh summary.txt file it looks like the camera is not supported.
However using gphoto1 --abilities it looks like it should work.

As soon as I plug the cable into the camera the lens retracts and closes the
lid.
I would be very happy to hear back from you (trying to make a Raspberry Project
for a wedding) and of course happy to donate to the project :)
