Hi Laura,
The Panasonic DMZ series does not support remote capture in its firmware, there
is nothing gphoto2 can do here.
For photobooth operations people have used Nikon DSLR (regular or Z series),
Canon EOS DSLR (also R series), and Sony ILCE / Alpha series cameras to my
knowledge.
