--- Comment #8 from Paul Rudkin <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 2008-06-15 10:30:44 --- Created an attachment (id=60) --> (http://bugs.gpodder.org/attachment.cgi?id=60) Allows user commands to be executed after certain events First my disclaimer is that I am not a Python expert..... Attached is a patch that allows a user specified command to be executed after the following events have occured:- - a download of a single episode has completed - all downloads have completed The command that is executed can be specified in the advance preferences dialog:- cmd_download_complete cmd_all_downloads_complete If the command is an empty string then it is simply ignored. When the cmd_download_complete is executed the following environment variables are set with the relevant values (I could not think of any useful values for cmd_all_downloads_complete). These can therefore be accessed by the command or script being executed:- GPODDER_EPISODE_URL GPODDER_EPISODE_TITLE GPODDER_EPISODE_FILENAME GPODDER_EPISODE_PUBDATE GPODDER_EPISODE_LINK GPODDER_EPISODE_DESC The return code from the command/script is monitored and if non-zero a generic error will be displayed along with the return code. If gPodder is minimised then a tray icon will display the error, else a pop up window will be displayed. Please give me some feedback. Some extra functionality I am thinking of adding is the ability to pass an error message or success message back from the command being executed. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.gpodder.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes. _______________________________________________ gPodder-Bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/gpodder-bugs
