--- Comment #6 from Nick <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 2008-06-18 01:06:03 --- Created an attachment (id=76) --> (http://bugs.gpodder.org/attachment.cgi?id=76) Proper Authentication Configuration Just to make sure I attached a picture of what my configuration looks like. If your configuration is in fact correct (which I suspect is the case) you might want to try a newer version of gPodder, you can get 0.11.3 here: http://getdeb.net/app/gPodder The problem seems to be that either DownloadURLOpener.prompt_user_passwd() isn't being called at all or it is being called but self.channel.username and self.channel.password are both blank. You can verify this by applying the patch that I attached to the gPodder-0.11.2 sources and running a make test. Here are the steps required to do that: sudo apt-get build-dep gpodder sudo apt-get install patch wget wget http://download.berlios.de/gpodder/gpodder-0.11.2.tar.gz tar xvf gpodder-0.11.2.tar.gz cd gpodder-0.11.2 wget http://bugs.gpodder.org/attachment.cgi?id=75 -O - | patch -p0 make test Then try downloading an exclusive episode again and look for "Authenticating as" or "Found no username/password for download" in the terminal output. Thanks for your patience.
