I don't have a good overview over the code yet, so I cannot really comment on
alternative fixes. But for now, I guess it's a good idea to apply this patch
because it cannot get worse. As it is, the function is completely broken and
with this fix deleting episodes on my iPod Nano has worked fine again. If we
find a better way, we can still work on a better patch later. :) I'm always
willing to test any patches related to iPods.
