I had the same problem and it only presented itself after I let gPodder
accidentally fill up the internal storage. After that happened a bunch of data
got corrupted including my gPodder database. This was because the partition
table listed the partition as being bigger than it really was. My dmesg was
also filled with errors like this:
[ 59.296875] attempt to access beyond end of device
[ 59.296875] mmcblk1: rw=2, want=3964215, limit=3932160
I re-partitioned and re-formatted the disk yesterday night and now all seems
well.
