Thank you for your bug report.
I think this is fixed in
http://repo.or.cz/w/gpodder.git?a=commitdiff;h=76d1e096b61a309661b41e67fc88752df73bda08
already.
This fix is not yet included in a release. See
http://wiki.gpodder.org/wiki/Running_gPodder_from_Git for how you can try out
the development version.
This fix will hopefully be included in the next release of gPodder.
Is this the problem you described? If so, does running the development version
from Git fix this bug?
