Summary: segfault when trying to copy episodes to MP3 player
Product: gPodder
Version: 0.13.1
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: low
Component: Application
AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
I'm using gPodder 0.13.1 on Ubuntu Intrepid with my Creative ZEN 8MB MTP
player. Each time I try to copy episodes to the player gpodder crashes with a
segfault.
I already fetched the most current version from GIT repository and did a "make
test" with it. Here the output (which is as I fear not very informative):
bin/gpodder --local --verbose
[ 1.232] Detected encoding: UTF-8
[ 1.615] (gPodderLib) Creating gPodderLib()
[ 1.804] (ConverterCollection) Could not find "oggdec", ".ogg" files cannot

[ 349.396] (MTPDevice) opening the MTP device

make: *** [test] Segmentation fault
Other applications using libmtp (version 0.3.0-1ubuntu1) work flawlessly with
my player, like rhythmbox, amarok. Also the tools "mtp-detect" and "mtp-tracks"
work as expected. So I think this might be a problem with that quite new mtp
feature of yours.
Please tell me what I can do to further investigate the problem and help you
fixing it. Thanks.
