Summary: gPodder will not un-minimize from AWN dock.
                    Intermittent.
           Product: gPodder
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: low
         Component: Application
        AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Sometimes if gPodder is left minimized for a while, it will not un-minimize
from my Avant-Window-Navigator dock. Left click will not un-minimize. If I
right click the icon I can close gPodder, but not maximize and still not
un-minimize. The menu will let me select un-minimize or maximize, and it acts
as if it has acknowledged my selection, but the application will not respond. I
have figured out a workaround that does not require closing gPodder, but it is
strange. If I switch to another desktop and click the icon there:

1. Compiz-fusion will return to the original desktop
2. gpodder will un-minimize
3. a new gPodder icon will appear in the dock
4. the original gPodder icon will close
5. gPodder will resume normal operation as if there were no problem

Software:
I am using Ubuntu 8.10, Gnome, Compiz-fusion, Emerald window themer,
avant-window-navigator. I am not using a gnome tray for displaying
applications. All updates are current according to the Ubuntu repositories.

Hardware:
Probably irrelevant, but my computer is an old Sony Vaio that does not play
well with ASAPI. The computer has a Pentium 4 2.0 Ghz, 512mb ddr, and lots of
swap. Network connection is wired to a router, and internet connection is
broadband. MP3 device is iAudio7 4Gb firmware v1.17

I cannot reproduce the bug on demand yet, but it is persistent, and I will
figure it out. If you want any further details please feel free to contact me.
This is my first bug report, so I might need you to spell things out for me,
but I'm willing to help out if I can.
