But was able to resolve problem. Uninstalled gPodder and ran a new check of IPOD, using gtkpod. Found corrupted ITunes DB. Deleted all ITunes files, recreated DB and .ext via gtkpod, and cleaned up orphans. Reinstalled gPodder and can now access. DB was okay, until first use of gPodder. Any chance of (1) using both gtkpod and gPodder caused corruption or (2) use of gPodder 0.14, when Ubuntu pushes 0.12, caused problems? Realize corruption can be random,from all web accounts of ITunes.
