Summary: gpodder always resets media player preferences to
                    default
           Product: gPodder
           Version: 0.14.0
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Application
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]

This is on FreeBSD 6.4-STABLE

Go into preferences, set the audio or video players to a custom command
(mplayer %U is what I was using).

Go play a video and it works, it plays it in mplayer as you would expect.

The setting is saved correctly to ~/.config/gpodder.conf

If you go back into preferences the media players are reset to the defaults
(beep and vlc on this system for whatever reason).

So, effectively, every time you go into preferences you have to reset the media
players if you don't want the defaults.

This doesn't happen for any other settings that I've found as yet.
