Summary: "Copy episodes to device" from UI makes gpodder hang
           Product: gPodder
           Version: 0.15.0
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: low
         Component: Application
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]

Using the "Copy episodes to device" function from the UI makes the application
hang. It does work from the command line. I started gpodder from a terminal
with the -v option, to see if that could give me some insight in what happens,
but no messages appear when I invoke the function.

I have also tried to start with a "clean install" by removing the directories
~/gpodder-downloads/ and ~/.config/gpodder/, but that didn't change the
behaviour.

This worked before, so I don't understand what's wrong. I first noticed it
today, the last time I synced without problems was about a week ago.

I'm on Ubuntu 8.10 where gpodder is still at version 0.12.0. When I tried to
copy new podcast episodes to my player, nothing happened (and gpodder also did
not hang). In the terminal, the message "SQLite connection for thread
-1238852720 opened." appeard every time I invoked the copy function (every time
with another thread number). So I removed gpodder from my system, downloaded
and installed the .deb package with the latest version. In 0.15.0, I get the
behaviour described above.
