So I then started deleting each podcast one at a time. And in between each time I ran gpodder --verbose and the result was the same each time. It would hang on the last feed when trying to update. I could attach each output I got for each step but that would be a lot so I thought that just the two I put might be okay. After doing all that I then decided to see what would happen if I didn't reduce it to the task bar. So first I left it open and let it run and it seemed to be okay. It wasn't hanging when it checked for new feeds. But when I reduce it to the task bar and wait for it to update it would do the same thing. So it only seems to do this when it gets reduced to the task bar. I've only done this twice and the second time I did it in the terminal. I worked fine if I left the window open and when I reduced it to the task bar it did the same thing again. But this time I let it run for a second update while it was reduced. I've attached a pic of what it looks like. Hope some of this helps. So far I have been able to reliably reproduce this bug, let me know if there is any other info I can give you.
