Summary: updated feed cache in background never completes
Product: gPodder
Version: 0.15.2
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Application
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
I have the update feed cache every 20 minutes defined in the general
preferences. If I leave gpodder running and it does one of these background
updates, and then later when I click on gpodder in the notification area, The
main window appears but the "check for updates" button is saying updating
feed-whatever 24/24. I can click the cancel button, but it doesn't work.
However If I right click on gpodder icon in the notification area and select
check for new episodes, it restart the feed cache update and completes.
Also I do a I right click on gpodder icon in the notification area and select
check for new episodes, wait it for it to complete, I get a notification of no
updates, I then left click to bring up the main window the "check for updates"
button is saying updating feed-whatever 24/24.
It seems like the button is not reset back to check for updates unless the main
window is open when the feed cache updates completes.
If you need any more info let me know.
