As far as I can tell, there seems to be no way of truncating the list of
episodes of any podcast. The "Remove old episodes" menu item with remove the
MP3 files themselves, but the entries in the right-hand "Episode" frame remain,
with a trashcan symbol attached. The Episode lists for each podcast
subscription increase in length over time, but there seems to be no way to
periodically shorten or clear them.
