Ken Dwyer <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #13 from Ken Dwyer <[email protected]> 2009-10-24 16:51:50 BST --- Having only a 1 GB mp3 player, I run into this problem once in a while. However, I don't feel that the proposed workaround is satisfactory. Consider a user (like me) who never listens to episodes in gPodder, but transfers all episodes to a device. Suppose I have a bunch of episodes -- total size larger than the free space on my device -- downloaded and they are all marked as unplayed. Also, I have the "sync-only-unplayed" option checked. Now, what I have to do is: 1) Choose some episodes to manually mark as played so that they will not transfer. 2) Sync the (unplayed) episodes. 3) Go back and mark the episodes I changed to "played" as "unplayed" again so that they will transfer next time. Maybe I am missing something, but this seems like a lot of trouble to go through. Although I like the idea of a dialog box like the one that Gilles describes, I would be content with a yes/no question asking if I just want to transfer episodes until no more will fit on the device. The order in which they are transferred could be arbitrary, or do something like order from smallest to largest. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.gpodder.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes. _______________________________________________ gPodder-Bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/gpodder-bugs
