We currently use /media/ for passing through the resources that are required by
the Django admin tool (images, CSS, etc..). Depending on the static data we
want to serve, we can either re-use /media/ (thereby having to merge our
content with Django's admin content or allow some other prefix (e.g. /images/,
/css/, /mygpo/, /res/, etc..). The special-casing for static files is done in
the lighttpd config, so requesting static files does not require them to go
through the Python process.

I have already created a "htdocs" subdirectory that we can use for storing
static files, although I have not put anything in there (apart from the symlink
for "/media/"). All content of "htdocs" will appear under "/" from the web
client's perspective, but we will have to add them mygpo.lighttpd.conf (already
in the repo). There's a "url.rewrite-once" section at the end of that file.
Just look how it's been done for "/media/", and you should get the idea. The
last entry there is the catch-all entry that rewrites the remaining URLs to the
Django instance.

Alternatively, we could try to enumerate all prefixes (/subscriptions, /admin,
etc..) that are used by our Django app and rewrite only these to the FastCGI
script, leaving the rest to be served statically.
