Windows' USERPROFILE is set to using nonstandard characters. In my case was an
"´".
My username is "já" and the USERPROFILE is set to "[...]\Documents..\já" too.
Python can´t read that, "import os;print os.path.expanduser('~')" show
something like "j." instead of "já".
I had to change the USERPROFILE to start gpodder.
