I have listened to a number of podcasts, and so they appear as played in
gpodder. Then the battery runs down and the N800 exits, terminating gpodder
abruptly. After I recharge the N800, and restart gpodder, the podcasts again
appear as unplayed. It seems that gpodder only writes the played status back to
persistent storage at user-initiated exit. Ideally, gpodder should write these
changes back immediately, not only at exit.
