Summary: Autoconversion from ogg to mp3 for ipod
Product: gPodder
Version: 2.0
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: feature request
Priority: low
Component: Application
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
I am having a problem with the sound quality of the mp3 file created from ogg
podcasts. There is a terrible echo in the converted mp3 file which makes it
impossible to listen to. I have downloaded the ogg file manually and it is ok.
I can convert it to mp3 and it still sounds ok (maybe just a bit 'tinny')
So my questions/comments
0. Is this just me and my atom based netbook with the problem?
1. Can the user get access to the oggenc and lame switches used for the
conversion?
2. It might be nice to have a dialog somewhere to change or optimize the
settings.
