Summary: Cleanup Downloads button stays depressed; intentional?
           Product: gPodder
           Version: 2.3
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: low
         Component: Application
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]

On gPodder 2.3 for Linux (this has happened since 2.2, and probably affects Mac
and Windows users as well) the button to "Cleanup" downloads under the
"Downloads" section stays depressed if you click it only one time. This
auto-removes the finished downloads from the list. If you click the button
twice, then it will revert to normal behavior.

This might in fact be intentionally done, but I found no option to configure
this under "Preferences".

Maybe it would be better to include a checkbox that says "Automatically removed
completed downloads" instead?

Ways to reproduce:
1.) Start several downloads
2.) Before the downloads finish, click the "Cleanup" button
3.) The button will stay depressed
4.) After the downloads finish, they will automatically be removed from the
list without asking the user
