>From a developed perspective (which I have done a lot of in my life) your
technique is what I would do myself. When a podcast no longer has a feed you
change the title to "Podcast Not Found").
From a user perspective I would suggest a different approach. Many times I
subscribe to podcasts from universities. Of course they take the podcasts down
at the end of the semester and do a new series in the spring. I still like the
old material so instead of doing "PodCast not found" I would suggest this
approach.
1) Change the color of the title of the podcast and include some sort of
character marker. This way the podcast information is preserved. With Podcast
not found I have NO idea what the material is anymore since I get five or six
with that message.
