Thank you for your bug report. What we should have is something like "re-start
failed downloads for X times after the rest of the downloads has finished",
where X might be something like "3" and be user-configurable (maybe in the
advanced settings dialog). Retrying infinitely is probably not a good idea,
because it might hammer a server if the error isn't temporary and gPodder is
left unattended. Users can then still set the retry value to something high
(say, 50) so that in case of a bad connectivity, downloads are re-tried more
often before failing.
