Summary: Rockbox cover art not created on player
Product: gPodder
Version: 2.5
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: low
Component: Application
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
CC: [email protected]
I have a Sansa E280v1 running Rockbox 3.5 and am now using gPodder 2.5 on
Ubuntu 10.04. I was also seeing this problem with gPodder 2.2, so tried an
upgrade.
I have set the "Type of device" to "Filesystem-based MP3 player".
With "rockbox_copy_coverart" set to "true", the cover art (where it exists) is
not copied over to the player.
I disabled "rockbox_copy_coverart" and enabled "custom_player_copy_coverart"
instead. I then deleted a podcast folder and sync'd. The podcast was
recreated OK, but no cover art.
I then enabled "rockbox_copy_coverart" again (so both are now "true"), ensured
the sizes were the same ("150"), deleted the podcast folder and tried once
more. Still no cover art.
Maybe I've done something wrong (or not done something I should have) but I am
pretty sure I followed the docs correctly. Obviously I can still listen to the
podcasts which is the important thing, but it would be nice if this worked too.
