           Summary: sync deletes existing podcasts
           Product: gPodder
           Version: 2.5
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: major
          Priority: low
         Component: Application
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]

I'm running gPodder from the PPA on Lucid. GPodder has begun deleting all
existing podcasts from the destination folder whenever I click sync or transfer
before it copies the new episodes. I've verified that this is indeed gPodder
and not my MP3 player by syncing to a scratch folder on my hard drive.

This affects me in two ways. I typically load up the latest episodes before
I've finished listening to the old ones. Also, some of my feeds contain
episodes I don't care for, so I hand pick which episodes to transfer in
addition to all the other podcasts. When I click transfer, all of the other
episodes that were transfered when I clicked sync disappear, leaving only the
latest batch in tact.
