Hello,

I'm very sorry, but I still have the bug 755 on Gpodder 2.5

It is written as fixed, but with Gpodder 2.3, 2.4, and now 2.5, with 3
different computers including 2 fresh installs of Ubuntu Lucid, I can reproduce
it.

I saw someone posted a patch, do I have to do something to apply it or should
it be included in default Gpodder ?

Please does someone have the same bug on the podcast I tried ? Thanks in
advance.

For some podcasts, when trying to transfer many episodes to MTP device or a
specific PC folder, on the final destination, there is only 1 file copied,
because Gpodder gives to all the episodes the same name on the destination
folder.

On the donwload directory, no problem: each episode has a different name.

But during transfer on MP3 device or another computer folder (I do that before
copying files to my USB MPR reader in order to mass-rename files), sometimes
Gpodder changes the names, and for
some podcasts it does not work.

Example: for the following podcasts, all is OK
http://www.europe1.fr/rss_export/feed/revue-de-presse
http://radiofrance-podcast.net/podcast09/rss_10217.xml
http://www.radioscoop.com/podcast.php?id=37261
http://www.rireetchansons.fr/podcast/rss/86-0
http://www.lemonde.fr/podcast-radio-zapping.xml

When I transfer 5 files, I have the 5 episodes on the MTP.

Ex:http://radiofrance-podcast.net/podcast09/rss_10217.xml
If I transfer the 2 most recent files, named
10217-31.12.2009-ITEMA_20209996-0.mp3 and
10217-30.12.2009-ITEMA_20209859-0.mp3, there are tranferred and not re-named.

http://www.radioscoop.com/podcast.php?id=37261
Files 41538.mp3 and 41433.mp3 are both copied with original name.

http://www.europe1.fr/rss_export/feed/revue-de-presse
262601_BD.mp3 and 262485_BD.mp3 are both transferred to MTP under names
223023201590.mp3_c=information&p=medias&l3=revuepresse&l4=Une_avalanche_d_editos_prophetiques&media_.mp3
and
223023201590.mp3_c=information&p=medias&l3=revuepresse&l4=Une_vaste_arnaque_a_la_carte_bancaire_deco.mp3.

Here Gpodder renames the files, with same numbers at the beginning, but as
there is a description / title different added, it works.

But for these ones, it does NOT work:
http://podcast.rtl.fr/cestsurlenet.xml
http://podcast.rtl2.fr/GrandMorningRTL2/larevuedepresse.xml
http://podcast.rmc.fr/channel179/RMCInfochannel179.xml
http://podcast.bfmradio.fr/channel22/BFMchannel22.xml

Here, whatever is the number of files transferred, I get only 1 in final
destination, because all are renamed identically.

Ex:http://podcast.rtl.fr/cestsurlenet.xml
5931689630_C-est-sur-le-Net-du-31-decembre-2009.mp3 and
5931666171_C-est-sur-le-Net-du-30-decembre-2009.mp3 are both synchronized under
the same name
273073201584.mp3_c=VIE_PRATIQUE&p=RTL_Petit_Matin&l3=C%27est_sur_le_Net&l4=&media_url=http%3A%2F%2Fm.mp3
and there is only 1 file in the destination folder.

http://podcast.rmc.fr/channel36/RMCInfochannel36.xml
Files 20091231_gg_3.mp3 and 20091230_gg_3.mp3 are both transferred with name
273073201586.mp3_c=information&p=RMC&l3=channel36&media_url=http%3A%2F%2Fpodcast.rmc.fr%2Fchannel36%.mp3
and only 1 file, too...

I hope I was clear enough and complete, thanks in advance for your help and
please ask if I can give more precisions.

Besides that, all works perfectly, thanks again for work and Totem list
feature.

Best regards,

Xavier
