Summary: cannot subscribe to feed without any current episodes
           Product: gPodder
           Version: 2.2
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: feature request
          Priority: low
         Component: Application
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]

I end up reinstalling gpodder every 6-months with each ubuntu release and apart
from losing "where I'm up to" with my podcasts I also cannot subscribe to feeds
where there is no current episode. Specifically BBC podcasts (e.g. Analysis
http://downloads.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/radio4/analysis/rss.xml) often run for 6
weeks at a time, then have a pause. If I'm installing in the middle of pause,
gpodder won't let me add the subscription, as there are no episodes. Then a
month later I remember, and find I've missed 3 weeks. I see no reason why
gpodder should refuse to subscribe to feeds without current episodes - could
that block be removed?

Thanks
