Summary: gPodder gets confused when more than one podcast
                    references the same media object
           Product: gPodder
           Version: 2.7+ (Git "master" branch)
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: major
          Priority: low
         Component: Application
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]

Sometimes, two podcast items (of two different feeds or of the same feed)
reference the same media object (e.g., .mp3 download). In this case it appears
that gPodder shares the download / listen status of the media object among all
podcast items referencing it, with unexpected results:

* When downloading the object of one item, this item's icon indicates
“playable” status, whereas the other (referencing the same object) indicates
“object missing”. Sometimes gPodder also looses track of where it downloaded
the object and indicates “object missing” despite the object having been
downloaded for the item in question.

* When an object has already been downloaded, but then is discovered again on
another feed, the action taken in the “new podcasts” dialog also affects the
item that was already downloaded. For example, marking a new item as played
will also mark the already existing item (in another podcast) as played.

* The same happens when modifying one item's state through the context menu.
