The message box in the main window of gPodder (the one that occurs for example
when there are downloads from your previous session) always has a black text,
no matter what you've configured in your gtk settings. But the background of
the message box has the color of your gtk tooltips. As a result, when you've
got black tooltips on your gtk theme, you'll see black text on a black
background.
I've attached a screenshot of gPodder, and a screenshot of another (real)
tooltip (how it should look like)
