Actually I wrote about splitting the MP3's in chunks of x-minutes. I developed a splitting script in bash what I want to share with you. First push the podcasts to the player Then go to the podcast player and run this script. The podcast is splitted into chunks of 5 minutes (can be choosen) so FastForwarding through a 90min podcast is less problematic. My experience is that you have to run this on the player and not on the HDD and then copy the splitted files to the player.
