--- Comment #4 from sideral <[email protected]> 2010-09-02 15:13:08 BST --- (In reply to comment #3) > I can make it editable, but right now, if a podcast feed is updated, > we reload the description from the feed (because the feed authors > could have updated the description, and we want to show the updated > information to the user). I could, however, implement it so that the > description is updated for the feed all the time, but if the user > decides to edit the description, it will never be updated from the > feed. Does this sound practical to you? This would work for me, but unfortunately I guess this would also serve to confuse many users (“Why isn't my description being updated any more?”). Perhaps an additional Reset button to reset the description to the one provided by the feed (and activated only when the user has modified the description) would prevent that problem — or maybe a checkbox that enables editing the field and (after confirmation) resets it when unchecked? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.gpodder.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes. _______________________________________________ gPodder-Bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/gpodder-bugs
