Cannot open device message when I try to sync to a ipod touch 2nd gen 8 gig
"xC086" iOS 4.0.2
Rythmbox can see ipod and transfer music
fuse mounted at ~/.gvfs/ipod, and entered as "/home/tomb/.gvfs/ipod" in
settings under both mp3 mount point and ipod mount point
using libimobiledevice CL tools works fine
On receiving the message, "Cannot open Device", in the terminal appears:
Could not find corresponding track (dbid: 1684774162876782060) for artwork
entry.
In gtkpod, "Could not find directory structure at /home/tomb/.gvfs/ipod", and
offers to create directory structure, and on trying to do that, "Error
initializing ipod: Problem creating iPod directory or file:
/home/tomb/.gvfs/ipod
