Followed your advise from bugs.maemo.org #10845, I also posted bug #11361 which I closed it. Renamed the previous podcasts folder to "podcasts old". Reinstalled gpodder and run it successfully. Transfered the subscription list using an opml file. Renamed the new podcasts folder to "podcasts new" and podcasts old to "podcsts" hoping that I won't have to download the old episodes again but gpodder wouldn't acknowledge them. So I changed the podcasts folder to the newly created and obviously downloaded previous episodes again. Maybe you can give me a hint, just in case same thing occurs again.
