             Bug #: 1306
Summary: Allow different path for scrobbler log
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: gPodder
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: feature request
          Priority: low
         Component: Application
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]

I use Rockbox on a Sansa e280 with a MicroSD slot and store my podcasts on the
SD card. The SD card and the MP3 player show up as two different mounted
drives, and are therefore under two different paths. I have gPodder set up to
sync to the MicroSD slot, which is working fine.

I want to be able to use my scrobbler log to keep track of played episodes,
since that would be really handy, but the scrobbler log is on the internal
memory of the MP3 player, so gPodder doesn't pick it up, because it's on a
different mounted drive (say, /media/Sansa instead of
/media/SansaExternalStorage).

Would it be feasible to add an option in to optionally specify a location to
look for the scrobbler log that is different from the drive to which the
podcasts are synced?

If I have time and it isn't too daunting, I may even dive in and try to produce
a patch - any quick tips before I do so?
